I am not your typical makeup artist.
I think baking is for cakes
and you'll never catch me talking about anything being "on fleek".
But I LOVE faces.
People and faces are just about my favorite things in the world.
I often creep out folks in the grocery store, inspecting their faces. I marvel at the way the ridge of that frazzled soccer-mom's upper lip curls back ever so slightly. I lose myself in the deli man's dense, black eyelashes.
True story. True creepy, creepy story.
Lucky for me, when I was 20 years old I met a handsome young man with an amazing pompadour who also happened to be a photography student. I strong-armed my way into his heart, and then into his photo shoots (I took my glosses and liquid eyeliner along for the ride). That courtship finally ended, but thanks to that young man and his gaggle of photo-student buddies, I was hooked even more than before on faces... and I had a way to get my fix.
Over the last 12 years I have had the pleasure of meeting, and decorating thousands of faces in a variety of venues for a assortment of purposes. I've had training and experience in just about every style and medium of makeup. Previous clients, employers and coworkers tend to commend my positive attitude, determination, technical skill and artistic vision. I am happy to provide contact for references upon request.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, I look forward to collaborating with you soon.
